Book an Immigration Consultation
We are pleased that you are considering Hurlingham Law Limited to assist in your UK immigration matter. In booking a consultation with us you can rest assured that you will get legal advice from an OISC registered immigration professional.
This is an excellent opportunity to speak to an expert about your immigration needs and to find out what options and services are available and suitable for you. Even if you do not meet the criteria for a relevant application at this time, it can save you time and money, in the long run, to be well-informed about any potential immigration matter. You may also need to speak to our team to be advised what steps you need to take before you can proceed further and for forward planning.
Our previous clients have benefited from planning, resulting in their business immigration journey being successful, compliant, and stress-free.
Terms of booking
The cost of the meeting is refunded against our full legal fees if you instruct us within 3 months of the consultation.
2. Once payment is received the firm will arrange an appointment which may be over the phone, over a video conference or in person depending on your preference and subject to availability. We do not agree to meet or speak with you at a time of only your convenience and you should ensure that you find out our availability for the appointment before making a payment. We are only able to confirm available times, but a booking can only be made once payment has been received. If you pay and a time and date become unavailable, you will have the option of arranging another suitable time or requesting a refund only if we can not arrange another time and date which suits you. If a time and date has been arranged, your fee will become non-refundable.
3. Payment of a consultation fee only covers initial advice as set out below and does not oblige the firm to carry out any other work for you aside from advising you verbally or in writing. This includes us not being required to act for you as your representative before the Home Office, court, any other party, or any other person/party. Advising you in consultation also would not constitute us being regarded as your legal representative unless you instruct us to act for you formally and substantially in your immigration matter.
4. Advising you about a potential application does not mean that we agree to work for you in any other application that we may or may not advise you about. You will need to instruct us formally and pay the appropriate fee which we will agree with you. We will require payment in advance of any work agreed.
7. The appointment may last between 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the complexity of your query. If the caseworker is not able to advise in person, this may be followed up subsequently after the meeting either verbally and/or in writing. It may not be possible for the legal advice to be given on the day of the meeting. It is not possible to confirm the timescale of the advice as this will depend on the complexity and other factors. We will aim to do this within one working week if possible.
11. If you are late to an appointment by more than 15 minutes, we reserve the right to cancel your appointment without a refund. You will have the option of re-arranging the appointment to another time once you are late or at least 24 hours before the appointment time.
